The Northmoor Film Nights
The film nights come to you as a gift from
Northmoor Road Methodist Church and Core.
Entrance is free and we want you to come and enjoy your night out. Big screen and big sound, so try it!
The movies begin at 19:30, doors open at 19:00 and we operate on a first come basis.
Over eighteens only . There will be an introduction to the film and an old fashioned interval. Refreshments will be available and there will be space and time to chat and discuss.

January 13th: Signs
A Sci-fi movie with a hint of inner searching. Powerful and scary!
Top guns, Joaquin Phoenix and Mel Gibson.
February10th: On the Waterfront
A powerful social commentary and award winning film. The challenge of homelessness and poverty, leads to murder. Marlon Brando and Rod Steiger star.
March 9th: Amazing Grace
The powerful story of the campaign to end slavery. A truly potent and moving experience. Ioan Gruffudd and
Albert Finney are the main players.
April 13th: Breakfast at Tiffany’s This classic needs no introduction and is a must see for the true connoisseur of film. The wonderful Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard star.
May 11th: Mulan A Disney classic that inspires and challenges. The story of a young woman’s bravery and discipline, expressed humorously with the help of her fire-breathing Dragon (Eddie Murphy). Ming-Na Wen leads.
June 8th: Oh, Mr Porter! This Will Hay classic is simply one of the funniest films on the planet. You must see this. Also featuring Moor Marriott and Graham Moffatt.
July 13th: Chocolat A woman and her daughter open a chocolate shop in a small French village that shakes up the rigid morality of the community. Juliette Binoche, Judi Dench and Johnny Depp all feature.
